Social Responsibility

Social Responsibility :
ITFA has always preferred to stay off the beaten track, not going where the path may lead but instead where there is no path in order to leave a trail. ITFA envisions to tackle essential areas of sports development for underprivileged children in India:
  • Souting, Recognizing and Training
  • Conducting Football Camps with National and International Coaches
  • To identify and restore grounds with local level citizens participation
  • Absorption and Placement

To attain this goal we have associated with
-          Raichel Joseph Foundation
-          CHIP

We are in the process of identifying more partners with whom we can share the ownership of our goal.

Adopt A Tiger

The Adopt a TIGER initiative was started by ITFA, in association with the Raichel Joseph Sports Foundation, in order to give underprivileged children with a hunger for football the chance to learn the game alongside our regular students. This initiative affords them an equal opportunity to pursue a dream despite all the social imbalances prevalent in India today.

Through the Adopt a TIGER initiative individuals can sponsor an underprivileged child’s ITFA course fee for any one of our Year Round Courses, encouraging them to have belief and hope … and most importantly to have fun.

After all, there isn’t a more rewarding experience in life than to pass on to others the opportunities you have been blessed with. To make a contribution towards the Adopt a TIGER initiative please contact  Ms. Devi Swamikan on 9324269236. Or send an email to  adopt @ itfa.co

Social Camps
ITFA, alongside the Raichel Joseph Sports Foundation, organises pro-bono social camps every year, giving hundreds of underprivileged children the opportunity to learn football. We understand that it’s easier to get a child on the ground than in the school and therefore we use play as a motivator, educating children through sports in order to inculcate good habits of health and hygiene.

Our social camps also allow these children to try out for national level teams and give them the added benefit of vocational training; as they could choose to become coaches, referees, linesmen or other support staff later on in life.

By creating the desire to pursue a dream of playing football within these children, ITFA also helps reduce social injustices like child labour and child crime; getting children involved in a productive activity that will open them up to bigger and better possibilities throughout their lives.

Adopt A Team

A crucial goal of ITFA is to keep our young players continuously engaged and motivated towards regular physical activity. We have discovered that the perfect way to do this is to enrol our teams in various year-round football tournaments. This not only keeps our players in practice with their newly acquired skills but also keeps them having fun on the field.

Through the ‘Adopt a Team’ initiative, you can be a part of the excitement by sponsoring a TIGER team for a single or a series of football tournaments. Live out your dream of having your very own football team, knowing that while you are having the experience of a lifetime … so are the kids.
